The FCU-503 offer a number of in-built application control modes. These include:
- Fan Coil Heat / Cool
- Fan Coil Cool / Underfloor Heating
- Fan Coil Cooling / Uderfloor Heating with Fan Coil Heat Boost
By combining fan coil and underfloor heating control in the same controller, the FCU-503 ensures that two separate systems are not required and that the heating will not ‘fight’ the cooling as all interlocks are provided as standard, ensuring only the heating or cooling can be active at any one time.
The FCU-503 controller provides flexible fan, heating and cooling control options and includes standard features such as an optional second and independent heating zone, system flush / valve exercising routines, frost protection / set back / overheat protection options and plant enable regimes when Heat Interface Units (HIU) and Cooling Interface Units (CIU) are present.
The FCU-503 is fully compatible with Titan Products’ touch screens user interfaces, the RDU-Touch for zonal interface solutions and the TP-CCS offering a central control screen. Both options cater for intuitive adjustment of the temperature, fan speed and comfort control mode.
The FCU-503 is also fully compatible with Titan Products’ Remote Access App for smart phones and tablets. This allows the unit to be controlled remotely via Wi-Fi or mobile data when a Titan TP-NM-R/2000 router is added to the network.
Incorporating native BACnet MS/TP communications, the FCU-503 controller can be used as part of a BMS network, as a standalone controller or as a master/slave group.
