The worlds first Zigbee 3.0 Co2 sensor

Titan Products are proud to announce the launch of the world’s first Zigbee 3.0 CO2 sensor.

Communicating using the latest Zigbee 3.0 technology the sensor is designed to communicate to compatible 3rd party hubs and co-ordinators opening up the opportunity to add wireless CO2 monitoring to Zigbee 3.0 or HA1.2 ecosystems.

Combined Co2, Humidity and Temperature monitoring

The Zigbee 3.0 Co2 sensors are supplied as a combined Co2, Humidity and Temperature sensor to maximise the monitoring potential from a single device. This combined with an excellent five year battery life make the sensors the perfect option allowing for long maintenance intervals, increased flexibility in mounting location, ease of install and much lower installation costs over wired sensor types as no cable runs are required.

The Zigbee 3.0 Co2 sensors are designed for many applications ranging from aiding ventilation of demand solutions in learning or working environments to monitoring air quality in residential and hospitality environment to ensure clean air is being maintained in the space.

Why Zigbee 3.0?

Zigbee 3.0 is latest standard for Zigbee communications. Designed to an open specification, the Zigbee communications provide a fully interoperable and open wireless communications protocol between devices.

Due to the nature of the packet based communications the transmissions consume very little energy allowing for a long battery life to be achieved. This coupled with strong signal strengths and mesh networking capabilities allows Zigbee to provide an extremely reliable wireless networking solution.

Zigbee 3.0 builds on this by merging existing Zigbee protocols under a single umbrella. This allows the Titan Zigbee 3.0 sensors to be fully compatible with new and emerging  3rd party Zigbee 3.0 devices yet remain fully backwards compatible with older Zigbee protocols such as HA1.2.
